SMS Consent & Opt-In Flow

This page documents exactly how end users provide consent to receive SMS messages through the CallConversionAI platform, for TCR/A2P compliance review.

How Consent Is Collected

CallConversionAI uses a missed call implied consent model. The end user (caller) initiates contact by dialing the business's phone number. The act of calling constitutes implied consent to receive a single follow-up SMS from that same business number if the call is not answered.

Step-by-Step Opt-In Flow

1

Caller dials business number — The end user calls a local service business (e.g., plumber, HVAC, roofer) whose phone number is powered by CallConversionAI. This is the consent trigger.

2

Call goes unanswered — If the business does not answer, the platform detects the missed call.

3

First SMS is sent within 60 seconds — The caller receives a single follow-up SMS from the business's phone number. The message identifies the business by name and includes opt-out instructions:

Hi [Caller Name], sorry we missed your call at [Business Name]! I'm your AI assistant. What service can we help you with today? Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply.
4

Caller responds — If the caller replies, the AI collects their service needs, address, and preferred appointment time. All messages include opt-out reminders.

5

Business is notified — Once lead info is collected, the business owner receives a notification with the caller's details and can follow up directly.

Opt-Out Process

At any point, the caller can reply STOP to immediately and permanently unsubscribe from all messages from that number. They will receive a single confirmation:

You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.

Message Frequency & Rates
